Blackbird Wings

I took the advice I got from the giveaway posts, and made up several different designs of wings.

These are black with accents that look like rust on dark cast iron. Dark loops at each end, this pair would look good together on a pendant, or I could see them made into earrings, too.

They have fancy french script on the back - see the word "London" on the back side?

Love the Steampunky, Goth, Victorian~esque look of the wings, and the loops...
The writing on the back is nice, too.
A grand new direction ~
I saw the new poster for the Guy Ritchie flick about Sherlock Holmes today, and these remind me of that time period.
Very Unique!

Awesome wings, Lynn! When I had dinner with Nancy your name came up. We both agreed you're amazing! How do you do it? You're so productive and creative and with a full time job! Wow! You've done it again with the wings. I love them!

CarolAnn, I'm intrigued by the thought of the Sherlock Holmes reference, I'll have to check that out for sure, that's a favorite theme and influence. Thanks for mentioning that!

Cindy, I wish I could have been there with you and Nancy, as long as I can stay far away from the torches, LOL! That fear is still with me, you both are so brave!

I needed the reinforcement today, Cindy, I really thank you! I'm feeling stretched and tired, and was wondering why I do what I do, and whether I should pull up my suspenders and keep going with it.

Thank you so much! I value your encouragement so very seriously, and needed that jolt today... Hugs!

Kim, I wish you could, too. I'm about to fly down south like a birdie and visit the family, that should re-charge my batteries and send my huggy-kissy index up a lot! LOL
