Oval and Asian Style

I've been making a bunch of these asian ovals, trying for an aged and ancient look. I can't make them identical but they harmonize with each other.

I put some in the Etsy shop, both single and in pairs. My plan is to keep them available, for those of you who like them. I also love seeing what you're making with them, that's exciting.

I'm considering making some in a gold tone, and possibly in blue. If I made other colors, which ones do you think you'd like to see? Black, maybe, or dark green? Helpful hints gratefully accepted ...

I love the dark greens that you use. Or that green on your bird wing from a little while ago.

These are beautiful. Greens would be lovely. And I think gold would look great.

Aren't these pretty. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your blog. And thank you for paying me a visit as well. Congrats on being in the Jewelry Zine. Loved your Art Fest blog...thank you for doing that. I have never been but hope to attend some day.

Oh these are perfect Lynn!!

They have the feel of being shards of simple pieces of every day pottery. Or even the "chit" that was used as barter, promisary notes, and even cash within the small feudal villages!!!

I'd like to throw my vote in for dark blues :)

Gosh Lynn these will look so amazing with your cast pewter pieces!!
