Mailbox Goodness

A few beadmakers got together recently on a beach themed bead swap. I'll be unveiling the goodies inside the organza bags at the Art Bead Scene so you can see what we all came up with. Fun Stuff!

They are a talented group of folks who participated, and the insides are just beautiful.

And shipped out in these handmade boxes ...

More soon about additional mailbox goodies!

What a good idea! I have beads that I KNOW I will never use. I have asked around at local bead get togethers and no one wants to let go of their extras. I am glad someone is doing this. Clever idea and great packaging.

I am chartreuse with envy! I love swaps and collaborations and this seems like the best of both. Makes me wish I made something so I could trade with other bead artists. Looking forward to it...but if those cards are any indication, it will be delightfully good! Enjoy the day! Erin

Sue, I wish I had thought of you, but definitely let's think up something together in the future. As you can see from my recent post, I LOVE your lampwork beads!

Lorelei, wait until you see all the beady goodness - to swoon over!

SharDon, that's a good idea too - the idea on this swap the plan was for each of us to make the beads. But you have a great idea, maybe we should put together an "orphan bead" swap sometime!

Erin, you are so talented, I wish for you all the time in the world to make up designs, since I've had to choose between making jewelry and making beads ... someone has to use my beads, LOL!
