Amber Corazon Contento

Here's just one more of the spanish styled pieces, a little more ornate cast pewter setting. Large loops at top and bottom, I could see this attached to a handbag or tote, or even used as an ornament in the house.

It has the ambertoned background I've been experimenting with, and an iconic religious image inside.

I finished reading the book I talked about before, and I'm about to start another one by the same author. It's interesting how what I'm reading seems to filter through into what I'm making with my hands at the time.

Lynn, that amber colour is just so yummy. And I love the icon just below the surface.

Thanks, LeAnn. Anytime I start trying something new I wonder if anyone else will like it.

Fortunately I'm enjoying making them and really like the way they look. But I can only wear so much jewelry myself, LOL!

Merci beaucoup, Esther. It's the book that does it, and it affects my inspiration. C'est le livre, toujours!

So if I read a gothic novel next, who knows what might be created from that?

Oh man Lynn you are pulling at my heart strings now (no pun included) :) This is just amazing, and truly reminds me of the little secret images that through out the years are hidden in pillers, walls and nitches in many of the old village churches built in the 1600s

Lynn I will drop you an email as soon as I done here. I'm going to send your Loteria cards out on Weds with a mule because I found a couple of Milagros, and I can't send them by mail courier.
