Spooks and Goblins

Happy Halloween!

The skullies I made this month have found homes, I hope they (and their owners!) are having a fun and safe All Saint's Eve celebration.

And I hope you and your family do, too!

Thank you, Maire!

I'm in the studio prepping some resin word charms today. Because they have to cure overnight, I try to do them early in the day and set them aside to cure, before I get distracted by something else to work on.

I look really scary in my black vinyl knee-length apron - who needs a costume! Just me in my safety glasses, apron and boots is a plenty scary look! LOL

I took 2 hours and cooked up 3 recipes out of my favorite cookbook that I bought in the mid-1970's - all chicken recipes that can be made ahead and refrigerated.

Tonight we'll have the chicken with onions, and later in the week it'll be either the chicken with oranges or chicken in wine sauce.

I love that old cookbook, it's beat up and worn but every recipe in it is simply yummy!
