Phases and Notations

I only got a couple more of the small round glass soldered charms made last weekend.

One has musical notation on both sides.

The other one has markings of the phases of the moon from an old almanac. New moon, full moon, first phase. All in notations.

I love the way the markings are on paper, for both.

Both are symbols for something higher and inexpressible.

The lovely sounds of music.

The beautiful phases of the moon.

Your charms are lovely - I loved the aged paper you chose - what is it about that color? It always draws me in....I especially like the moon phases...thank you for sharing your work.

I like that these have symbols in them and the aged paper is always a favourite with me.

You are going to laugh...but those first music notations looked like braces on teeth to me! I love that old vintage papers. Great little charms, Lynn!
Enjoy the day!

These are so cool! I love how thick and sort of messy the solder is - it makes them look mysterious, especially with the papers.

Ooops! Was my soldering messy, oh no! Mysterious, I like that as a description, makes it sound like messy is good, LOL

Erin, now that you have said that, I see braces too - isn't it funny where our eyes and minds take us?
