Around the Neighborhood

I just came in from the sidewalk, visiting with my daughter and grandbaby in her carseat. She has new sunglasses, to protect her eyes against the "stinky sun" - as she calls it when it gets in her face.

The weather is still warm around here. And humid.

In the mornings before I go in to work, I sit on the front porch until my daughter drives by on the way to work, and we visit for a minute.

On Thursdays we carpool together into town, so I get to visit with both of them until time for the day job to start.

This is the fabulous grandbaby wearing her sunglasses - for some reason she insists on putting them on upside down.

To her, that's the right way round. Who am I to say different?

She has her own unique vision of how the world works. Maybe she has grandma's creativity too!

That's SO cute! She's stylin' and ready to hit the town with her purple sunglasses :o) Hopefully she will remain unique and fun like that forever!

How fun to be able to spend time with your daughter and granddaughter. Those are the best times. I love the picture of her in her sunglasses!

What a cutie! My kids loved to wear their sunglasses upside down too.

It's so nice you get to visit with the girls every day. I am so blessed to be able to eat lunch with my mom nearly every day.

Love the shades. Isn't it great to see them so often?
