De-lightful

My beautiful grandbaby and I had our first "sleepover" at my house on Friday night.

She is the most energetic, excited, curious being I have ever met.

I need stronger vitamins.

We had fun playing, cooking and visiting.
I'm in recovery, now that she's gone home.

When was the last time you got to play with silly putty and play-dough, hmmmm??

Stronger vitamins! Ha, ha! If only it were true. :-) What a blessing ... I love the photograph ... and you look dynamite in jeans and pearls!

How fun! We spent 5 days staying with our 3 year old grand daughter and her mom at Christmas. I spent a week recovering from all of that energy. I'm so happy you've got your family close by.

We wish our grandson was closer, however, I think I need more then vitamins ...I'm exhausted after 4 hours keeping up with him! What a great photo!

Great photo. Grandkids are so much fun. Mine are over here several times a week. I'm always in recovery mode ;=)

As we have no children of our own, I will never have gradkids, BUT I have the next best thing -- a wonderful godson. He surprised me today by coming to sit with me during church -- I was just tickled pink!

If only vitamins would do that trick! This is what it is all about. The fact that you get to forge that bond with your granddaughter is so priceless. My only parents are more standoffish with the kids. They love them, sure, but aren't there like that. Cherish every ache that she gave you. It is worth it!
Enjoy the day!

I think that's why young people have the kids! Our two grand daughters are coming for spring break, yikes! A whole week. How fun Lynn, love the picture of you two. You look like you're having a ball. Take care, Riki

She was as pooped as you were! Little one went straight down for her nap, and slept for a good two hours! I'm so glad we have this opportunity, it means so much to you and I, and someday Evelyn will look back and be so grateful as well ♥
