Purple Green and Gold

February 12 was Mardi Gras! My daughter took this photo at the Children's Parade on Saturday. The Children's Parade had been rained out for the last two years, so I had never been able to go. And this time, I had two grandkids and my daughter to go with me!

I caught a neckfull of colorful beads. Today is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. I hope your celebrations of various holidays, Valentine's Day and President's Day are all exciting - and they all come in the same week, too!

He's a Climber

Yes, I know it's Sissy's chocolate milk. But she's not drinking it. And she's not here right now. Oh ... Hi-Mom! Who needs a silly high chair anyway. When I can climb up on this chair just fine. What? Get down? Leave Sissy's milk on the table?  Okay.
My teacher at school took my picture because I was climbing up the wall to get out. I don't know why everyone gets so excited when I climb up on things. This is before my daddy took me to the barber shop. Hi, teachers! What? Get down? Okay.
The teacher took my picture again. Guess what I was doing? I want out of this side of the room, can't you tell? I'm trying to tell you, but my words aren't so good yet. But just look at my face, can't you see? And you can see my spiffy new hair cut after daddy took me to the barber shop. What? Get down? Okay.
