I'm usually far away on your birthday, but this year I get to give you a hug in person.
Happy birthday. And thank you for encouraging me to come closer. You make me very, very happy.
Let's spend some time together baking a cake - you can lick the icing off the spoon like you did when you were a little girl. Because you'll always be MY little girl, even though you have a little girl of your own now.
How wonderful that you are no close enough to spend time with your daughter on her birthday! Enjoy the day!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday to your daughter.

ReplyDeleteI am celebrating you, Lynn, for having a great connection with your daugther and allowing the love to blossom and build until it envelopes you in warm, soft light. That is what I am feeling.(Can you adopt me?)
That and I so want to bake a cake with my daughter just to have her lick the bowl.
Enjoy the day!
Erin
So, so special to be near your girl on her birthday. I am happy for both of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you friends, it's what it's all about!
ReplyDeleteAnd Happy Birthday Jenny - but how can we both be the same age? I guess I'll have to update my year count, if you are going to allow yours to go up!
I have been away for a long while. Your blog has changed and look wonderful. Even your photography looks grand. Daughters - treasures as we grow older.
