Kinda Almost Sorta Nearly Famous

My friend Lorelei Eurto is on the ABS Bead Cruise, sailing away to exotic ports. I hope she's having a fantastic time, getting lots of rest and sunshine, and making lots of cool new designs. See the little bracelet in the photo, the one at the top? That's one of my Lovebird beads, in the oval shape, Lorelei used it in that cute design.

In the meantime, I stumbled across this post on the Vintaj site and I thought 'boy that bead looks familiar' and recognized the necklace design by Lorelei. Color me surprised, wow!

She used another one of my Lovebird Square focal beads for the design in the magazine feature. I remember it now that I see it again. I loved how she used it, and it's so great to see it in the March/April 2009 Step by Step Beads Magazine.

It's like when you snap a photo and in the background you see a celebrity and realize - 'hey! I was really close to a celebrity and didn't know it!' - anyway, if you squint really hard and look closely you will see the descending lovebird, soaring away.

Here's another one Lorelei created with one of the Lovebird beads as a necklace, this one is oval. I really need to make some more of those beads!

Can I order some extra daylight, with cream please?

Wow! So many designs with your birdie! Such a sweet design. I can see why Lorelei likes them so much!

Yes, you probably should try to make some more of those! Now that they are published, tons of beaders are going to come knocking at your door wanting birdies!
