Little heart beads with little flying birds - must be love bird beads.
The two lovebird beads at each end are a bronze gray-green color.
The middle lovebird bead is a rusty iron color.
Color is unpredictable. I was working on some greens and blues. I did get one sort of yellow-green color. Turquoise is a hard color to mix. Kind of a yellow blue-green color. If I get it to come out, it will be an exciting thing. Periwinkle, gray-blue, eggplant blue. Indigo.

Oh Lynn!! I LOVE these little birds! They are sweet and perfectly placed on the heart. Lovely work!

Now that I put them on the little hearts they look like it fits, don't know why it took me so long to 'see' this, thanks for noticing, Cindy. Those 'A-ha' moments are sometimes just a happy accident and this was one of those, now I'm looking around the workbench to see what else works, hmmmm ??? LOL
Happy accidents are marvelous things - the beads are absolutely precious.
There's something about winged things in jewelry that is so... attractive, I suppose? Seductive. As if maybe your ears will fly away with your earrings...
I invite the happy accidents by having a messy workbench, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I wouldn't have thought of it but some people have mentioned that the love birds have a spiritual look, like the dove of peace alighting on the heart. I guess we bring our meanings and purpose to images of things, and that's a good thing.
These are the beauties Deryn showed on her blog today~I love them =)
