I'm headed quickly out the door to start the regular day, but wanted to do a quick post to show some of the tile designs I'm working on right now.
These are made to be just charms, hanging from a wire wrap or worked into a beaded design, through their eyelet holes.
The single birdwing design is a beautiful azure blue color.
Since the big 'heart day' is coming up in February I guess I was inspired to make some hearts. These have a fleur-de-lys pattern on them.
I slipped one of the hearts onto a hanger, pulled on a ball-chain and have it around my neck now for a 'test wearing' - this research and development phase is my favorite part.
- someone must do it, right?

I REALLY like these hearts and the wing is so cool too!! I like that they have that metal around the ring.
I can't remember what that doohicky is called.
I have a bunch of black, silvertone, copper and antique brass eyelets to use, it makes the hole sturdier. I got a tip from a friend to use a heavy metal fishing weight (looks like a plumb bob) to make the eyelets, and I'm perfecting the technique. It's taken a while but I can do it consistently now. But I still hold my breath when I do it!
Eyelets! YES! That's what they're called. Sometimes words just escape me.
I like them a lot. I'm going to have to get some of these hearts. I don't really do Valentine's or themed jewelry but I think these would look so awesome on a charm bracelet.
Lynn, Love these charms! These are great. And I really like that wire hanger you made, that's cool!
I'm working on a kind of change-a-bead idea, using that hanger so you can slip your charms on and off, to mix and match. Thanks for noticing...
Lorelei, I'd love to see the charm bracelet design you'd make! Hmmm... :-)
hey lynn
I emailed you this morning - did you get my message? I just want to make sure that your email is working. it's lynn.lynndavis[at]gmail[dot]com right?
Lorelei, if you click on the photo of the Ringleader of LLYYNN you'll get the email (and the gmail icon also brings it up) - you're close but not exactly there...
Lynn - If you keep showing all these wonderful things you are going to make me buy even more! I can't wait until the hearts are available!
