Directions

I made this oval bead focal, to resemble a carved piece from a sailboat or hand compass, with the four directions on it.

The colors are deep and distinctive. I enjoy travel emblems, they bring thoughts of the voyages of discovery.

These are so amazing and drop dead gorgeous!!! It's so hard to pick out a favorite one because I love all of them ... soooo sweet looking. I just love the muted colors. It's perfect ... I love an aged red look. I'm so glad I got it, I love the color ... it looks like it was found in an attic ... LOVE IT!!!! Then, I saw the pewter gift pieces! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! They are just beautiful and I can't wait to create soething with them. I can't wait to see what new creations you'll come up with in the future ... I'm always on the lookout for your listings.

I purchased the compass rose necklace you created that was photographed in Belle Armoire last year. I love it, by the way, but I have a small question...I am a writer and have just finished a novel that I am trying to publish. I am about to complete a personal website for the book, and I would like to photograph the necklace to be one of the pop-up photos on my website. Now that i've discovered Lynn Davis, i've always got a place to start. She's one of those people who not only comes up with fantastic ideas then does all the work herself, even though according to her blog, she has very little time to devote to her artwork. take a look. her prices are affordable and purchases arrive very promptly. take a look at her work, then treat yourself to ten minutes (at least) with her blog.
