Spring Water Blue, Ocean Spray Blue

There's a blue color, slightly greenish, that I like to work with.

It's got a dark aqua background, with a baby blue highlight.

Not purple like periwinkle, not green to the point of turquoise.

Just a light, baby blue color.

Like a spring-fed stream, or the warm ocean waters of the caribbean.

The shallow ocean color, sparkling blue-green, with light blue ripples.

These pieces remind me of that color.

Oh I like that colour. I'm finding myself very drawn to blues with hints of green and greens with bits of blue.

I have to agree with LeAnn,
I find myself being drawn to blue more these days. Although blues with more gray like the cadet blue in my box of 48 Crayola crayons :)I really like the way blues work so well with the browns

Are things starting to settle down and get back into a bit of a routine these days Lynn?? You seem to be more relaxed and less stressed on your blog.

LeAnn, there are some great glazes for porcelain that give that same watery feeling, I'm sure you have loads!

Pattie - the relocation is just about done, we've had a full week of unpacking and rearranging. And getting rid of a lot of equipment that is now a duplicate. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. And I don't have to work the weekend. YAY!

So I can cast some pewter this weekend - woo hoo!
