I'm taking a momentary break from more component preparation, resin pouring and glass fusing, to show these medals of award.
One is for a soft heart. A coppery color in the resin charm reflects the coppery bezel pewter setting.
The other speaks of the true path. It looks slightly mossy around the edges, with a little crack and patina of age.
Now back to the worktable, making more resin words and faux fused glass gems.
And there's a smoker on the patio, making a beef brisket for later.

The colorations in both pieces of resins are wonderful!! And they both would make perfect little awardgifts to give!! :)
Stopped by for a minute I've been playing today with a mermaid. Will post her when she decides I'm done puttering.

Very, very cute!! these tonic colors are a wonderful contrast with the vintage frame!!
I love these and the very soft colours of the cabs. I especially like the thought of giving awards for soft hearts and such. Nice touch. Now about that brisket....Ours was yummy, hope you enjoyed yours too.
LeAnn, the brisket was in the smoker from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, when it started to sprinkle rain, so we grabbed it and put it in the oven to finish up. Usually my hubby (the BBQ KING) lets it go in the smoker until the meat is totally fork-soft, but it was still extra yummy because of the mesquite wood chips. Love that mesquite - glad your brisket was good, too! Must have been brisquet day, LOL.
Pattie, can't wait to see how the mermail turned out, wowee the waiting is tough! Hurry, can't you? LOL
lynn, i absolutely LOVE these.....
