I have a poster, it has the inspirational saying "BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED" on it.
Which to me means, make the best of what you've got.
No greener pastures over the fence.
Make lemonade with the lemons you've got.
That kind of thing.
So I made these two little hearts.
One says "GROW" and the other says "BLOOM" - one leads to the other, I guess.

I'm using the square brass jump rings that Ornamentea send me. They work perfectly for this. You could put a big chain through the loop, or several strands of ribbon and chain together.

Very cute! Reminds me of the same kind of poster in my grandparents house - and the song Edelweis from Sound of Music...bloom and grow forever....
I agree with nikki, the first thing I thought of was:
Edelweiss, edelweiss, every morning you greet me
small and white,
clean and bright,
you look happy to meet me
blossom of snow
may you bloom and grow,
bloom and grow forever
edelweiss, edelweiss, bless my home-land forever
That is the cutest darn thing Lynn!
so pretty! i love your charms!
Wow, I would never have thought of the Edelweiss song but now that you all have said it it's an "of course" thing - bloom and grow.
That's a smiley thing for sure!
Must have been under the surface all the time, huh?
