Most of you know that I relocated from Missouri to Louisiana to be nearer to my family. I am still meeting people here in my new home. But one person who was in Louisiana made me very happy, by sending me a gift made with her own hands.
Beverly Herman of No Easy Beads makes the loveliest beaded cords and necklaces. She made this pretty little bracelet, and sent it to me. Wasn't that sweet of her? See the focal bead - it's one of Heather Powers' little branch beads. How ingenious, to use it that way.
At first I thought it was a crocheted cording with beads, but as I looked more closely I could see that it was tiny little beads stitched carefully together to make a round cord.
I don't know how Beverly works with such tiny little beads!
I've been enjoying wearing it around my wrist. It serves as a constant reminder of friendship, happiness and new adventures. It rolls right on over your hand, and slips easily on your wrist just as light as a feather.
I love it! Thank you so much, Beverly. It's simply amazing ... just like you!

She showed it to me when I was in Baton Rouge, and I knew you would love it :o) She's such a sweetie! But, then again, so are you!
It is indeed lovely. I have one with one with a blue tummy owl that I just love. Bev does amazing work and those beaded cords are wonderful and soooo comfortable.
That is so sweet of her, what a kind thing to do. Take care Lynn, look forward to getting by birdies! Hugs, Riki
Lynn thank you for the kind words!
The bracelet is bead crochet. Each bead is strung and than crocheted five around.
You share so much with everyone on your blog and with your generous give-aways I wanted to make something special just for you!
Its lovely!!! Nice gift!!
I am in awe of people who play with seed beads. They are the death of me. What a sweet reminder that no matter where you roam you will always have friends thinking about you!
Enjoy the day, Lynn!

It is a fantastic bracelet. You are so right about that bead. I thought it was Peyote stitch when I looked at it.
