After yesterday's post, I thought you might like to see those bright blue eyes and beautiful red hair.
Her momma took this picture.
She's being a Princess, wearing the dress and white lace pinafore I sewed for her for Christmas.
She likes to twirl in it.
I remember my daughter's grandmother, sewing dresses and pinafores for her when she was this age.
When she started school, I had her wear those dresses for her annual picture.
So she would always remember them, even after she'd grown out of them.
I hope my granddaughter will remember me sewing for her, too.
Good ReMemberies.

You are making more than clothes for her. You're making memories and showing her how much you love her.
She's just lovely. Great red hair too.
Thanks very much! She reminds me so much of her mama when she was a little girl, red hair with brown eyes, but lots of energy and bubbling with fun!
I'm so happy you are still here, even though I haven't been around a lot lately! Good friends are so important - THANKS!
It is a bit of magic to be a child. I find myself transported to another land when I am able to spend time with our own little princess. I am so happy you are able to spend this precious time with your grand babies.
Hi, LeAnn, my friend!
I try to work in some creativity time, but I realize that these children will grow up SO FAST, and I missed so much with the granddaughter, I don't want to miss this time with the grandson.
Pretty soon, he'll be up and walking ... running ... and I will have been here to see it all. It means so much, as I'm sure you know, too.
Yes, I am still making jewelry, but the time sensitive things right now are these children, that will be grown up way too soon.
Thanks for your kind words - you know exactly what I was aiming for in this post! But you do always understand.
Hugs,
Lynn
