Are there things you'd like to know about me, my background, that I don't mention on the blog? Are there inquiring minds wanting to know?
Here's your chance to do a "quasi-interview" of me, based on posting the questions as a reply comment to this post.
I am hoping the questions will not involve "how do you do" with specifics about jewelry. I'm hoping they will be questions about "who are you" or "when did you" or "why do you" sorts of things.
If you post a question here for my blog-interview, you'll get a special savings in the Etsy shop. Will that sweeten the deal enough to get you typing those questions for me?
Once I have your questions, I can ponder the answers, and maybe answer them on-line here on the blog.
Sounds like fun to me. Hope you will join me and play along! I'll close out the questions by Thursday, so if you want to ask, now's the time .....

What's your favorite medium to work with and how did you find it originally?
Besides where you live now, what has been your favorite place to live and why?
How did you decide to start making your own beads? Did you take classes, go to art school or are you self-taught? Is there something in your background that has helped you with the style and direction of your art?
Enjoy the day!

Lynn, I know you started out as a potter and in other mediums like weaving and fibre as well. Because I started out in a similar way with larger scale work (pottery), I would love to know how and when you made the jump to the small scale of jewelry and components.
I'm always interested in the genetic versus learned question, so: Do you come from a creative family? Who was your biggest influence? How do you think your creativity was nourished when you were growing up?
If you were on a desert island for a month and could only have one food to eat, what is the "one" food you would absolutely have to have?
Also, I'm always interested in what gives people their inspirations...what inspires you?
This is fun!

Great questions, my friends! I love 'em! I'm giving them a lot of thought ... hmmmm ... keep 'em coming if you have more??
Who/What keeps you motivated? do you ever get bored with your medium?
